The eight regional Water is Life Art Contest competitions have been completed and the four finalists from each region move on to the state competition. Freshwater Society will host an award program and art exhibit on May 5, featuring the artwork of all 32 finalists. Peter Smerud from Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center will be the guest speaker. Six $500 scholarships will be awarded to the top artists. All artists will be recognized and receive a cash award. Congratulations to all of the artists and thank you for participating! To view the art click here.
