Is the Weatherguide a Minnesota-only calendar?

Well, sort of. The weather records, phenology and astronomical information in the Weatherguide are specific to Minnesota. But many of the natural phenomena and photographs portray subjects that can be found throughout the Upper Midwest and beyond. We know plenty of long-time Weatherguide enthusiasts who send the calendar as gifts to friends and family who live in other parts of the country and even overseas!

We receive more than 1,200 photo submissions each year, showcasing the beauty of Minnesota's lakes, rivers, streams, landscapes, plants and wildlife. We are so grateful for the photographers who share their talents to support Freshwater's mission.
