Water Connects Us is Freshwater's annual benefit to connect around the role we can each play in protecting water now and for future generations! Our 2024 event was held September 12 at Forgotten Star Brewing in Fridley, Minnesota.

Meet our 2024 Water Connects Us emcee: John O'Sullivan
As the creator of One Minute Tours, John O'Sullivan runs a social media channel with over 1 million weekly views, mainly from Minnesotans. Featured on major Twin Cities media, he's collaborated with Delta, the Ordway, and the Minnesota Zoo. Now, he's thrilled to partner with Freshwater to share stories about our work for water.
Bonus event: Tour the Minneapolis water treatment plant
Prior to our 2024 event on September 12, we hosted a tour of The Public Works Water Treatment & Distribution Service located just down the road from Forgotten Star Brewing! This is a unique chance to explore the inner workings of the city's water system. On this tour, you'll learn about the process of treating Mississippi River water and turning it into drinkable water.
