The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has produced two short, jargon-free videos that offer a primer on groundwater and a closer look at the Mt. Simon aquifer and the need to protect its recharge area. The Mt. Simon provides drinking water for about 1 million people in parts of the metro area and in Southeastern Minnesota.
