Read a Star Tribune article on Master Water Stewards, the partnership between the Freshwater Society and the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. The program, supported by a Clean Water Fund grant, trains volunteers to work in their own communities – for now the Minneapolis neighborhoods around the creek and the Chain of Lakes – to promote water quality.
And read a Minnpost.com column on the Freshwater lecture last week by U.S. Geological Survey hydrologist Don Rosenberry.
