It’s not too late. You can still join us for a free public lecture Thursday, June 6, on the impact of groundwater on surface waters. Don Rosenberry, a U.S. Geological Survey Hydrologist who took part in the research on the shrinking White Bear Lake, will deliver the lecture. It’s titled Not Just for Scientists Any More: Why the Public Should Care About the Connection Between Groundwater and Lakes, Streams and Wetlands.
The lecture, sponsored by the Freshwater Society and the University of Minnesota College of Biological Sciences, will be at 7 p.m. in the Student Center theater on the university’s St. Paul campus. Learn more.
If you cannot be with us, watch the lecture in live streaming video.
