Inspiring and empowering stories of people coming together to work for Minnesota’s waters are all around us. For nearly 20 years, Minnesotans from across the state have come together at the biennial State of Water Conference to connect, learn from others, contribute their own stories and ideas, and become further equipped to protect Minnesota’s waters.

Community members have always been on the front lines of advancing state and local action, and that remains true today. Collaborations that involve grassroots community members, local governments, and state agencies can lead to powerful and durable changes as we work together for Minnesota’s waters.

The 2020 State of Water Conference will bring these different voices and perspectives together to support and further our shared goals. Set on the shores of Lake Mille Lacs, a place rich with history, culture, and natural beauty, the conference will take place April 30-May 1 at Mille Lacs Grand Casino. With a focus on sharing stories about the State of Water and action being taken, this conference is an opportunity to connect, learn, contribute, and gear up to take efforts to the next level. This year’s conference will feature place-based sessions, an opportunity to provide feedback on a statewide water plan, and more. Join us for this innovative conference—you won’t want to miss it!

Loon-atic Early Bird registration now open! We are celebrating the leap year and February’s extra day by extending our crazy-good early bird rate through February 29 – take the leap and register today!
