Technical Training

Technical training is an essential part of entering the water workforce. Fortunately, there are many programs and resources out there to support you!

Technical training schools

1-year training programs

These programs are designed to fit your busy life and launch your water career quickly. With flexible scheduling options and hands-on training, you'll get the training you need to feel confident in the water workforce.

4-year training programs

If you're hoping to embark on a comprehensive educational journey to the water workforce, many Minnesota colleges and universities offer a variety of programs for all interests.

Minnesota State Direct Admissions Program

The Direct Admissions program is designed to make sure high schoolers know they have multiple college options in the state. With Direct Admissions, students no longer have to wonder whether they'll be accepted to college because they will be proactively notified of which participating colleges and universities they are accepted to - before they even apply.
