Metro WaterShed Partners sets Nov. 3 meeting on education

Metro WaterShed Partners, a coalition of Twin Cities organizations devoted to protecting and enhancing Minnesota’s water resources, will host a special meeting on environmental education on Wednesday, Nov. 3. The meeting will explore education’s role in protecting water.

Speakers include Faye Sleeper, the co-director of the University of Minnesota’s Water Resources Center; Peggy Knapp of the Freshwater Society; Dick Brooks from Action Media; Ron Kroese from the McKnight Foundation, state Rep. Jean Wagenius; and Cliff Aichinger from the Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District.

The meeting will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Kay Fredericks Room of Hamline’s Klas Center, 13 Taylor Ave., St. Paul.
