Trees and the role they play in cleaning up and protecting water will be the subject of a daylong conference hosted Thursday, Sept. 8, by the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. The conference, titled Green Infrastructure for Clean Water — 2011 Summit, will address policy and planning issues related to using trees in stormwater management.
